Welcome to the
Key Strategies Navigator

This document naviagator shows the key documents that are used in local decision making below the Cornwall regional level.

The SCI or Statement of Community Involvement is the list of organisations and individuals that have been or are to be consulted when local strategies and plans are being formulated.

The Community Strategy is the document that defines the aspirations and priorities of people in each area.

Local Development Frameworks (LDFs) are the principle documents that describe how communities are to be physically supported in terms of housing, transport and other 'physical' infrastructure.

The Local Area Agreement (LAA) is a three year agreement that sets out the priorities for a local area. It is outcome based and enables local authorities and their partners to deliver national outcomes in a way that reflects local priorities as identified in local strategies, (i.e. Community Strategies, Crime and Drugs Strategies, etc).
